I underwent an esophageal manometry and a 24-hour PH monitoring test. These procedures are not pleasant nor easy to administer, especially with patients who aren’t comfortable getting tubes pushed down their nose and throat. But my experience could NOT have been more positive because of my nurse, Wanda. She explained everything she was going to do, and while administering the tests, she was gentle and professional, and it was literally a fun experience. I also am confident that these important tests will be interpreted properly and that my time wasn’t wasted with someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Wanda was the perfect R.N. in every way. I am grateful!
