Recently, I fell very ill and Wayne went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. Several days while sick, I came to work, but was not functioning at full capacity. Wayne picked up my slack and made sure that all of my patients were taken care of. He also, made sure that I felt well enough to be at work and checked on me often. I then had to miss several days of work as my illness progressed, and Wayne again stepped up to the plate. He texted me to make sure I was okay at home, and made sure that I did not need anything. He, then, took care of me when I had to become a patient in the ED. The wonderful care that he provided me touched my heart. I am very proud to call Wayne not only one of my co-workers, but one of my best friends. He is an excellent nurse, and I know from experience that all his patients are lucky to have him.
