Jiayan is a girl you can praise with so many words. When she came to our unit, she called me "Sister Qiu" all the time and I determined to take good care of her. Later, I found she had a delicate and thoughtful mind and she took care of us all the time. Once, I brought my son to unit activity and Jiayan surprised him with a bag of snacks. It turned out she went to the supermarket for us, which truly impressed my son.
For work, Jiayan is very attentive and patient. Every day she introduces herself to patients: "My name is Wen Jiayan, and you can call me Xiao Wen, wen wen wen, the sound of bees fly..." So it is very easy for patients to remember her name. Once, we cared for an old lady with hearing loss and inconvenient activities. Her son was too busy to be there. Jiayan came to her room from time to time. She asked her whether she needed help and talked to her in her ear. She helped her go to bathroom, make a quilt, and place the table, etc. The lady said Jiayan was thoughtful like a granddaughter.
Also, after Jiayan joined the wound and ostomy committee, she keeps posting updated information through WeChat group and coordinates the care of pressure injuries with wound nurses.
See, Jiayan is such a lovely, careful and meticulous yound lady and we all nominate her as a DAISY nurse.

Thank you, Wen, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
