I had mitral valve repair and while I have no complaints with any of the nurses, Michael stood out the most with his compassion, dedication, and knowledge. I started retaining fluid in my private areas and groin and it really scared me as I was worried that my repaired valve was failing. Michael was able to explain to me what was going on, what medicine they were using to treat the issue, and when I should start seeing results. Each time Michael came to my room he was very respectful, professional, and compassionate and I never felt like he was rushing to get to the next patient. I noticed that Michael even treated all of his coworkers with these same values. Unfortunately, I have been treated by many health professionals in my life as I have also been treated elsewhere for thyroid cancer, which was also great patient service, but in my opinion, Michael provided my wife and me with the best service available from the first time he walked into my room until the day I was discharged and I am positive this is the same with all of his patients.
