Wendy was amazing. I am an employee but this particular day I showed up to be a patient. I was here to deliver my long awaited little boy. We lost a son last year four days before our due date so my husband and I were for lack of a better term, anxious! Wendy was very warm and helped make our nerve racking situation as calming as possible. She was so encouraging, but above all she just made us feel like I was being heard. We ended up have a problem and had to be taken to emergency C-section. She could tell that I was terrified and distraught. As a nurse, we are cursed in knowing too much. Wendy continued to encourage me. Telling me that our little boy was going to be ok. After five hours of pushing, she helped deliver our beautiful son into the world. We are so thankful for her.
