This nurse Wendy Ballew is more than a nurse, she is harmony in this hospital. She knows how to keep me calm when my anxiety gets really bad, she listens and truly cares. I have been in the hospital for nearly two months and she has been here for me every breath. Wendy walks into my room and I instantly light up. One day I was crying and she took time to sit and tell me how strong I was, how I could do this, etc. She helped me that day and she does continue to help me go through things. She goes above and beyond to help everybody, her personality is incredible and I feel she is heaven-sent. She deserves to be honored for all she does, sometimes all it takes is acknowledgment. I think she should be acknowledged for her compassion.
