“I am very pleased to write about Wendy. Yesterday, she spent time to review a patient’s record, found that she should have been cleared for contact isolation and contacted EIP to have her removed from isolation status. The patient was very happy to not be confined to her room, our staff was happy as we no longer needed to put on so much PPE, and we are all happy to save hospital resources. Today, I picked up a call from one of our patients who asked for Wendy. When I explained that Wendy was busy with another patient and offered my service, she said that she would wait for Wendy because she liked the tea Wendy made for her that morning. I was so touched and feel very fortunate to have Wendy working with us.”
