As an RN and former ICU nurse, I was so impressed with Wendy when my daughter delivered her first baby this week.

After being sent home with a failed induction, after an 18 hour stay, she returned a few days later and labored for about 44 more hours.

She was exhausted, both physically and emotionally, after pushing for 3.5 hours.

Wendy supported and encouraged while gently preparing my daughter mentally for a possible outcome of a C-section delivery.

All the nurses were great, but it was immediately obvious that Wendy’s 30+ years of experience was put to good use and made a huge impact in a difficult delivery.

Her suggestions were much appreciated, and both my daughter and I were confident in her care.

She was so attentive and informed us of what was happening. She shared some of her personal experiences in a professional manner, which put us at ease and gave a real humanness to the situation.
We felt a great connection through her compassion for the situation.

She knew I was so disappointed of not be able to be at the delivery and helped with photos and updates to make me feel more involved.

Wendy's clinical and emotional skills had a huge impact on our experience.

I believe we could not have had a better nurse, and I was so pleased with the overall experience and will never forget Wendy.

Thank you, Wendy, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
