Wendy Cowhig, BSN, RN

Wendy Cowhig is amazing and has been an influential nurse for over 19 years at UCSF. Wendy has put her heart into the nursing profession and is a role model to her peers, and truly deserving of DAISY recognition. She is a nurse dedicated to expressing our mission of excellence in patient care, and practices nursing in a way that models our PRIDE values: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Excellence. Wendy is a great advocate for her patients and provides excellent patient-centered care with infinite compassion. She encompasses all attributes that make up the DAISY Award and consistently goes above and beyond for all patients and co-workers. She is the definition of a team leader and player, is very knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and a constant resource for all staff.
