Wendy always goes out of her way to make sure her patients are taken care of. She not only educates them on the importance of safety issues but offers to help them if they need things such as clothes or shoes or food. The absolute dedication she shows to your hospital makes her much more than a regular nurse. As I've seen, Martha Jefferson nurses are all nice but there is something extra about this nurse named Wendy from Wendel 2.
Perhaps she could be a mentor to others. She did mention she was a "new RN" but from what we observed, no nursing school could teach the empathy and willingness to go the extra 10 miles. Please keep her on your team. She is truly amazing.
I was visiting a friend and witnessed this - every patient deserves this kind of compassion!
