My mother was recently discharged from the hospital. Upon discharge, I reviewed my mother’s medications along with the nurse, Wendy. Wendy was very professional and knowledgeable about the medications. The last thing I remember Wendy saying prior to discharge is that we can always call the virtual nurse over the weekend, too, with any questions. Well, the next day, my mother was confused and saw people who were not there. So, I called Wendy the next day, and she was able to relay to me the things to monitor and watch for. She then connected me with a hospitalist and reassured my mother and family about when and if she needed to return to the ER. Kudos to Wendy!
