There were two people, one nurse and someone else, who helped my grandmother and my mother today. My grandmother cannot go to appointments on her own and is not able to do much for herself anymore. My mom cannot lift or help physically with my grandma.

Today, Grandma had an appointment, and my mom met her there after she came from an assisted living facility. When they got to the back portion of the office, my grandma needed to use the restroom. She had unfortunately already gone a little bit on herself. My mom could not lift her, get her cleaned up, or help physically, but there were two very helpful ladies, one of whom was Wendy, who were able to get my grandmother to the restroom and cleaned up as best they could because the facility did not send any other Depends. Throughout the entire experience, they were patient, kind, and compassionate.

My grandma was a very independent woman before her stroke, and since then, her ability to do things on her own has dwindled dramatically. It is not often that we are met with such kind people who are willing to help, especially when something isn't their job or responsibility.

This is not the first time she has been met with compassion and kindness at this office, and my family and I sincerely appreciate the teammates there, especially Wendy and the help she provided today.
