Wendy went above & beyond by going to a patient's home to teach wound care. The patient's insurance company does not pay for this service; therefore, without hesitation Wendy made 2 visits to do dressing changes and educate the patient's daughter. She made several phone calls to the daughter to provide encouragement & support while she performed the dressing changes. The daughter stated she was able to do the dressing changes due to Wendy's ongoing support.
