I want to take the opportunity to positively recognize one of your RNs for her exceptional support provided to my brother and me during his visit. He was brought in for extreme chest pains. During the 7+ hours we were here, she provided us everything we needed to relax under the current situation. She continually provided us a milestone of expectations, so we knew what to do moving forward. There were also time updates given through each phase of the process.
Weslynn's attitude and smile were contagious as it helped my brother relax during his situation. She never relaxed during the time we saw her, as she was always moving with a sense of urgency looking for what needed to be done next.
To our surprise, she told us she was a new nurse, but the quality of service experienced was well beyond her years. She is a tremendous asset to the DCH team and will continue to thrive!!
Also, she worked through multiple cancellations to get him admitted to the hospital, by working the delay through her management chain.
