Wethu Trumble is a beautiful person both inside and out. She is the nicest person you would ever want to meet. When she walks in the door her smile lights up the room; you can tell she really cares. The patient said, "I am a joker and she played right along making me feel at home."
When I went for a walk she reached out and took my hand. I had my girlfriend on one side and Wethu on the other supporting me to walk. Most staff take you by your elbow and lead you, she accompanied me.
Most of the time the hospital is miserable. Wethu made it bearable. It can really be depressing, and you never know what's coming. She patted my leg, assured me it would be okay and then that smile just made it all alright. She had a confidence that made us relax.
