We have had a great experience at Cook Children's. The nurses and doctors have all been amazing, but Whitney really stood out to us. Our son was admitted to Cook Children's for perinatal stress induced hyperinsulinism and she was the nurse in charge of admitting him. She really took her time to explain everything to us and made sure we didn't need anything. Even on days when she was not in charge of our son, she would still check on us and our son. There was even a time when she held our son for about 30 minutes so that I could finish pumping! We really appreciate great nurses who really care about the patients and love their job.
