I have never heard Whitney say “no” when she is asked for help even when she has worked a few days in a row.
Whitney is a team player. Not only does she take exceptional care of her patients; she also helps her fellow nurses with the care of their patients when in need. Whitney has helped me bathe my 400-pound patient while having patients of her own. She has helped me turn and clean my patient multiple times a day. Whitney carries essential oils with her to make patients' rooms and the hospital smell great.

I have never heard Whitney say “no” when she is asked for help even when she has worked a few days in a row. I have witnessed Whitney have an incredibly busy 1:1 assignment where she basically stocked her entire room, changed dressings, and served as emotional support for the patient and his family while monitoring drips and giving medications. Whitney also decided to bathe the patient who was a night bath because she had time to – completely unprompted by anyone. I have never witnessed someone be so selfless. Whitney says “yes” even when she doesn’t need to. Whitney also stocked all the carts in CICU once as she worked as the float nurse on the unit. She organized and stocked the carts without ever asking for anything in return. Whitney is never “too tired” to assist her patients to the most of her abilities. She also extends her help to her team members.
