Whitney Hudson, R.N., was presented with Carroll Hospital Center’s May DAISY Award on May 18. A nurse at the hospital for close to one year, Hudson was honored for her outstanding compassionate care for her patients. She consistently goes the extra mile to ensure her patients are comfortable and their needs are met. She also takes the time to talk with patients’ families to keep them well informed and make them feel at ease during their loved one’s stay.

“Whitney is an extraordinary nurse who is always able to connect with her patients and make them feel reassured they are in the best care,” Stephanie Reid, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., chief nursing officer and assistant vice president of nursing at Carroll Hospital Center, said.
