Whitney is the nurse that every patient hopes they get when they’re hospitalized. When she entered my room, her smile was so warm and her demeanor was always “bubbly.” Her professionalism as a nurse is unparalleled. Her attention to every wound and, in particular, both of my drains was impeccable. When I developed a leak from one drain at the insertion site, Whitney came in a couple of times each hour to change the dressings and keep me clean and infection-free. In a few words, Whitney is a consummate medical professional. As a florist for 57 years, she’s a rose, but if a DAISY is what you award, she deserves a dozen! Being here nearly a month, she was the best nurse I encountered.
