I didn’t know how else to say how much I appreciate my nurse, Willie. She calls and explains things to me, she calls when I need to do lab tests before meds can be refilled. It would be a very hard road if not for her efforts and consideration.

One example alone: this week I called the main line for a medication refill with window pickup because I was struggling to access the MyHealtheVet message access. I asked for window pickup. I called the next day, and I was told it was mailed out and would be in the mail and I’d receive it in 6-10 days. Once again, Willie herself reached out, called me, and said I was due for a urinalysis, and I could get my meds at that time (window pickup) and it was not mailed out. I am thankful for having her as a Nurse. She helps me and she doesn’t have to do the extra effort but she does. The amount of stress and anxiety she saves me from, I cannot thank her enough. It means so much. Thank her for me, please. I am very grateful for her.
