Will has gone above his nursing duties with a patient at the VA. He has taken his personal time to assist a veteran in the hospital setting and outside of the hospital settings. Due to the patient not being able to return home due to extenuating circumstances, Will has spent his personal time shopping for a patient, bringing him clothes, and taking care of his dog while he has been hospitalized. Will adopted the patient's dog and has been bringing him to the hospital so they can still visit with each other. When the patient is placed in a facility, Will has made it clear that he will continue to bring the dog to the patient so they can keep their bond. It is simply amazing what he has done this for the patient. Will has been a role model and shown compassion beyond what is expected of him. Will has shown that he truly cares for all of his patients. He shows the same compassion that he has for his family to his patients.
