July 2022 Honoree
William Annechini, RN
Empathetic and encouraging. Bill would check in on my mom near the beginning of his shift to take her vitals. I’d often watch him reposition her, check her wounds, etc. He would explain to us what he was doing and why. A good communicator and educator. When he told me that his mother had temporary ostomy bag while he was in nursing school, his compassionate attitude made even more sense. I always felt comfortable when visiting hours were over and Bill was on duty.
Thank you, William, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
