William (Bill) Harvey was nominated by a family whose relative was brought to GW Hospital and passed away after surgery. The nomination stated that Bill was "a breath of fresh air." It went on to say how Bill explained the situation to the family, as well as how hard the doctors and team worked to save the patient. The nomination continued on to state:

"As Bill was explaining everything to me, I really felt like Bill was a part of my family and he gave me and my family peace because at that time our hearts were torn and my family and I felt like [our family member] wasn't alone and had the best care."
