My son was admitted due to an ongoing health issue. He also has Autism and several diagnoses. My son was struggling with being overwhelmed, overstimulated, in pain, and anxious. William immediately recognized what was going on and seemed to take care of my son like he was the only thing in the world that mattered at that moment. He supported us both by coming in and checking on us. He and I talked when I was crying and upset with worry for my son. William advocated for me when I wasn’t sure about a recommended procedure. He sat and talked my son through 2 panic attacks. My son lost control of his bowels and bladder. William didn’t hesitate. He was gentle and kind to my son when he needed it the most. All the nurses we had were awesome, but William was the best I’ve ever encountered.
