William who goes by Kim has been employed here at McLaren Greater Lansing since 2006. He started out on 6 South and moved into the ICU. Kim has been working on 3 West since opening in 2012. Kim is an excellent nurse. He has been an integral part in helping 3 West (Secure Unit) become what it is today. We had almost all brand new nurses when we first opened and he has helped with educating them along the way. He is one of the "go to" RN's on the unit. Kim has a laid back personality so when "everything is hitting the fan" he puts the calm hat on and gets what needs to be done, done. Kim has always been willing to help his co-workers out if needed. He has stepped up and agreed to be a co-chair of our UBC. He has assisted in putting together our Acuity System, also through the UBC. He has staff compliment him and his abilities and they all respect him, including our physicians. We should all be so lucky to have someone with his integrity, thoughtfulness and enthusiasm working beside us.
