My Mom is 91 years of age and several weeks ago, she had to have a procedure in preparation for a nuclear embolization. We arrived early in the morning and were introduced to her nurse, William Kott. Now, my Mom, being raised in a different era, is a very modest woman, and not at all pleased with having a male nurse.
However, Bill has such an easy-going, friendly manner, and he quickly broke the ice with her. He goes about his duties efficiently and makes every task easy for his patients. He was on top of every aspect of her care from prep to finish.
It's obvious that Bill cares very much about his patients, and he goes the extra distance to make them feel that they are very important. He is patient, proficient, compassionate, and has just the right amount of humor to make everyone he meets feel at ease.
I would like to recognize William Kott for going above and beyond in caring for my Mom.
