May I please express sincere gratitude and endless thanks to nurse William (Bill) Mcginnis? He went above and beyond his nursing duties to help my 95-year-old father. An extraordinary and kind nurse, Bill Mcginnis! You’re extremely lucky to have him on your staff.

What happened: Bill was apparently off duty and walking home when he noticed my dad wandering around the parking lot looking lost and confused. Indeed, he was! Bill offered to help and actually guided my dad home. He refused to stop driving and had already punctured two tires. Mr. Mcginnis was able to allay his fears and sit in the passenger seat, helping dad drive all the way! I’d filed a report with Arlington Police as he’d been missing for four hours and by coincidence wound up in your hospital parking lot and if not for the good samaritan and incredibly selfless and quick-thinking nurse, Bill Mcginnis, we would be - who knows? Thanks to his compassion, he saved my dad.
