He did a wonderful job calming her down and making her feel comfortable and I appreciate his help so much.
I’m a family friend calling from Wisconsin and my best friend is in the hospital. She told me she hasn’t slept in 2 days because of the pain from surgery and was afraid to take pain meds for fear of getting addicted. William took the time out to go in and explained what each med was for. He did a wonderful job calming her down and making her feel comfortable and I appreciate his help so much. Taking the time out of his extremely busy schedule to help her answer the phone. He is really great, he talked her into doing treatment and procedures and even the first COVID vaccine. I was very happy about that. When I talked to her again she sounded like a brand new, happy person. I just wanted to call and say my grateful thanks for his service.

Today we are here to honor one of our dedicated staff. As I reflect on the past two years, we had it makes me realize how privileged I’m to be part of this wonderful unit and have such dedicated staff. As I stand here and look around all I see is a great team that put aside their needs to care for their patients. It makes me glad to see when patients recognize our wonderful staff. William is one of our new nurses. He has been with us for eight months. He survived orientation and transitioned to the night shift where he currently is working. It’s not always easy to be the new person and start a new job but William seemed to manage that well. William is a quiet, professional nurse who always greets you with a smile. Thank you for being a good team player and being part of the 6D family and giving your best. Congratulations!
