With the challenges presented by COVID-19, Willis has gone above and beyond to ensure that his patients not only receive high-quality care, but that we provide them, and their families, with an exceptional experience - despite our visitation restrictions. Recently, 5 South received a thank you card from a very grateful daughter of a patient. The card reads:
"'For everything you've done...for being the special people that you are...thank you so very much.' It is with tears of gratitude that I write this to my mother's nurse - and all of the nursing team. I thank you for all you have done to care for my mother I could not be there physically as we planned. I will be eternally grateful for all you have done to help her, and for the peace of mind, you have given me. To Willis, thank you more than anything for helping Mom see out the window so she could participate in her grandson's 6th birthday party!"
Willis rearranged the room so that the patient could safely see out the window and feel like she was a part of the celebration.
Willis consistently goes above and beyond for his patients, creating moments with them and anticipating their needs in a way that makes them special and cared for. We are thankful to have him on our team and are grateful for his commitment to serve faithfully!
