Wilma Lopez, RN
I was transferred from Flamingo Urgent Care to the hospital. Wilma was the first medical staff person to greet me upon getting to my room.
She was very thorough in reviewing my Urgent Care record and explaining what she would do while I was in her care. Extremely concise; we discussed my expectations; she went over hospital protocols - including who would be coming in to see me, when the doctor was going to be here, everything.
Throughout that afternoon and the next day, she was very caring and very patient with all my Dad jokes. She was always perky and cheerful - which helped because I really didn’t want to be here due to my chances of missing my flight (with family) back to Texas.
