When we had to make the difficult decision to take my grandma off meds and the ventilator, Wilma was here to make sure that she was as comfortable as possible. She made sure that my grandma was dressed and allowed our family to be a part of everything. She took the time to connect with all of us and made a difficult time a little bit easier.

Wilma is a very compassionate nurse who went out of the way to make my mother comfortable during her last hours. She reassured the family and genuinely cared for my mother. She was reassuring and patient with our large family. She deserves the DAISY Award for her dedication to her patients and family. She is an amazing nurse and a loving individual.

She is very nice and respectful. Wilma introduced herself to the family and shared her personal family experiences. She understood how we felt and adapted to our Chinese traditions. She was not satisfied with calling our grandma by her formal name, so she asked for a nickname, something more familiar, so we told Wilma she could call her Popo, which is grandma in Chinese.
Thank you, Wilma, for personally understanding our experience, not only as a nurse but also and more importantly a friend. We appreciate and will deeply cherish all of the help you've supported us with.
