These ladies go above and beyond to make our patients' experience better. They do this every day, but some recent examples of their extraordinary compassion are:
1) We had a young mom being treated for cancer, and she had little ones. The infusion team found out that she needed a car seat. The team bought the car seat that she needed for her.

2) We had a patient who was not doing so well, and we knew he was not long for this world. The infusion team wanted to make his last birthday special and they all coordinated buying decorations and a cake for his birthday. When he came in on his birthday, they decorated the bay he was in ahead of time sang him a happy birthday, and then fed him a cake. He passed away a few weeks later, but they made his last birthday so special!

3) Another example is that they all got together and wore camo t-shirts for a patient who LOVES camo to help him celebrate his final day of chemo! It made his day.

The infusion team at the Woodland Cancer Center always goes out of their way to do little things for our patients, and I appreciate all that they do. I know that their efforts, little or big, do not go unnoticed by our patients and their families, and they all deserve recognition.
