Wrood "Rudi" A Abdulhafedh, BSN, RN

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU! I credit Rudi for saving my life with the education on hemorrhaging you gave me during my hospital stay. After I was discharged, I hemorrhaged at 10 days postpartum. I had to call 911 for assistance and passed out upon EMS arrival. The doctor praised me for calling 911 and stated the outcome could have been much worse if I hadn’t done so. I ended up being admitted with an emergent D&C due to retained placenta, the passage of clots, and blood. This is a rare but serious event. Without the knowledge and education I received from Rudi, I might have bled out and my sweet, new baby would have been motherless. I received multiple units of blood after my surgery and my heart shudders to think of what might have happened without Rudi’s attention to detail and education. Rudi is a very thorough and awesome nurse. She deserves recognition as she truly did save my life!
