Xiu K Donovan, RN, ADN

Xiu is an amazing and very talented nurse. She always goes beyond her job requirements to make a patient feel more comfortable mentally (I have severe PTSD). Xiu will always advocate for her patients (I presume her interactions with me reflect her interactions with all of her patients). I trust Xiu completely, which is unusual because it is difficult for me to trust some. Because I trust her completely, I am allowed more dignity and self-respect. Xiu explains things to me and takes the time to help me understand everything that is happening to me. I am confident any time I see her that; I will be treated in a way that lessens my shame and embarrassment. Because of her, I have a more positive attitude and fewer anxiety attacks. I generally hesitate to use the call button, but she encourages me to do so. I feel she treats me as well as she would treat a member of her own family. She is a nurse, I believe, of the highest quality.
