Yaffa Bernstein, RN

Yaffa advocated for my wife to get more care at the hospital as she was suffering from a delayed postpartum hemorrhage. This was the second time we were under Yaffa’s care during this pregnancy, and I can attest to her compassion and expertise. During our care under Yaffa, she took quick action, was incredibly compassionate, concerned, treated us as more than patients, helped us understand what was going on, and provided us a calm presence when we needed it most. She even sought us out the following day in antepartum to check on us. Having had two babies at Hillcrest and a couple of visits to the ER, Yaffa is one of the best nurses we’ve had. Truly, without her advocacy for extending care for my wife this last week, the outcome would have been incredibly scarier than it already was. We’ll forever be grateful for her.
