Yappett Scott, ASN, RN

Yappett was nominated by an Alpharetta City Council Member for the excellent care he provided for his father following a fall. Yappett went above and beyond to ensure his dad had all his personal needs met and was safely in the vehicle to transport him home. The nominator noted, "He looks to be fine but just felt the need to tell you how thankful we are for WellStar and for your outstanding nurse Yappett Scott." This is one example of Yappett's outstanding care for all his patients. He had no idea of the patient's family member's standing in the community. The ED Director, endorsed the nomination, "He is absolutely amazing with patients and has gotten many compliments in our patient experience surveys. He would be an excellent recipient of the award."
