We firmly believe Yee Ting's positive energy and happiness are what helped our daughter to thrive in the ICN.
Yee Ting looked after our daughter, M, who was born five weeks early, and sent directly to the ICN. Yee Ting's care for our M was nothing short of extraordinary. From our first interaction with Yee Ting, we instantly knew M was in the best hands possible for her special care. Yee Ting loved and cared for M as if M was her own, giving her sweet pep talks ("We are going to try this out, but no pressure, M, you take as much milk as you would like, I know you can do it!"), cheering her on as she met various milestones ("I'm so proud of you today, M! You are such a strong girl!"), and patiently encouraging her to keep fighting when she regressed ("That's okay, M, we all have our off moments. We can try again at the next feed, okay?"). She answered all our questions with patience, grace, and a wealth of knowledge. She kept us cheerful and positive, quelling our fears by encouraging us to stay positive and being empathetic towards our anxiousness. We firmly believe Yee Ting's positive energy and happiness are what helped our daughter to thrive in the ICN. Yee Ting exudes positivity, happiness, and compassion. While M had various nurses looking after her, Yee Ting stood out the most, she is the gold standard, in our opinion. We are forever grateful for Yee Ting and her incredibly big heart and beautiful personality and are so grateful she was part of M's journey during M's time in the ICN. It was so bittersweet and hard for us to say "bye" to Yee Ting. Any parent with a child in the ICN would be lucky to have Yee Ting assigned to their child's care and well-being. Thank you, Yee Ting, for everything and for being you! We will never forget you or the impact you made on our family and M's life.
