I am writing to make you aware of the wonderful care I received during my recent stay at the Och Spine Center. Having Spinal Surgery is an anxiety-producing event, to say the least. As a nurse myself, I am aware of staffing shortages, especially with the increase in Covid cases, vaccine mandates, etc. I was quite concerned about the care (or lack of) I would receive post-op. My fears were unfounded. Yiset was my nurse when I first arrived on the unit post-op. Not only did she attend to all my physical needs but took the time to talk to me and address my emotional needs as well. She cared for me efficiently but also treated me as if I was one of her own family members. Truly, "Amazing things are happening".

2RW is beautiful! Yiset Taveras is the most wonderful person, she is outstanding! Her attitude and level of skills…It is so easy to make conversation with staff about regular things, like movies, which is rare. Most times, people just do not make the time.
