From the moment I was admitted to the ICU, overwhelmed with fear, uncertainty, and pain, Yontal became a source of strength. His presence turned my fear into faith, my uncertainty into clarity, and my pain into moments of comfort. Empathy and explicit knowledge were evident in every interaction with me. He explained my condition in layman's terms, which helped me feel informed rather than lost. He anticipated my needs even before I voiced them. His presence made me feel safe and understood. Yontal treated me like a person, not just a patient. I am currently being discharged as I write this. I relay that I would never forget the impact Yontal had on my life.
