We are proud to watch each of them grow, and we cannot wait to see what the future brings.
We are honored to nominate our incredible CNA Youth Apprentices at Holy Family. Watching them grow, learn, and thrive year after year keeps us inspired. These young adults come from different schools and backgrounds, yet here they form a close-knit, supportive team. The friendships they build, the teamwork they show, and the joy they bring make our program more than work — it’s a family.
Ella Licht finished high school early in January 2026 and is already taking college classes while working multiple jobs. She has never missed a beat with us, showing focus, dedication, and a strong heart that will carry her far. Sophia Schwoerer picked up this job as if it were second nature, building on her junior-year banking experience. She has started college classes, rolled confidently into CNA work, and is heading into nursing school with intelligence, drive, and humor that lifts everyone around her.
Ava McLean has overcome many obstacles with her hip and time on crutches, missing a month but returning stronger than ever. She absorbs every skill and lesson like a sponge, showing perseverance and courage that inspire us all. Reilly Blaser began shy, but has blossomed into a confident, self-starting team member who takes initiative without being asked, showing leadership and heart.
Aubrie Heyroth is “the girl my mom walks with her mom.” She balances school, work, and homework like a pro, drinks Trisha’s tea like it’s going out of style, and somehow fits it all in. Owynn Gregurich is a go-getter who is never idle — walking the floor, finding tasks, and keeping busy all day. He will be walking patients with us all the way into next year, demonstrating energy, initiative, and quiet humor that inspires everyone.
Mikayla Van Wychen may be quiet, but she is observant, absorbing every lesson from RNs, doctors, and CNAs. Her focus and curiosity will make her a phenomenal PA someday. Ella Skaletski runs like the wind, has a strong heart, and has impressed us for two years with her dedication and spirit. While we will miss her as she spends the summer water skiing and exploring the world, we know her passion and drive will continue to inspire. Sophia Soukup graduated in January 2026 and left for the National Guard, but she always brought joy, energy, and a can-do attitude. She could drink Trisha’s tea in one gulp and immediately ask what else could be done — a true reminder of her spirit and dedication.
All of these young adults keep us going year after year. Watching them grow, make decisions, mature, and have fun is a privilege. Sometimes they feel like our mini-mes, our sidekicks, and our best friends — and we honestly don’t know how we could do this job without them having our back. The way we run this mentor program, the work we do together, and the support we give each other show the strength of this team. The friendships they build, the laughs they share, and the time spent outside of work make this more than a program — it’s a family. We are proud to watch each of them grow, and we cannot wait to see what the future brings.
