Yu-ying's philosophy and mission in nursing work, providing comprehensive and holistic professional nursing care based on patient-centered needs.
Nurse Yu-Ying has worked in the dialysis center for 25 years. During this period, she has won the recognition of the unit's excellent nursing staff award many times. She has a conscientious and down-to-earth work attitude. She has a careful and good personality and is trustworthy. She is also a good partner in the unit. She provides professional nursing care. She will gradually understand the needs of patients and their families, and can actively provide individual care.
For example, Ms. H is a follow-up case in the end-stage renal disease outpatient clinic and faced with difficulty in choosing dialysis treatment. After Yu-Ying took the initiative to establish a trusting relationship with the patient, she understood the individual needs of the patient and used the shared decision-making of end-stage renal disease and the patient to explain it to the patient. After a better understanding of the difference between hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatment, the patient chose a more suitable peritoneal dialysis treatment. The patient was provided with peritoneal dialysis treatment at home from the implanted tube and self-care including peritoneal tube outlet care and peritoneal dialysis fluid exchange treatment. Nursing-related nursing guidance increases the confidence of patients and their families in treatment and reduces anxiety, and patients are discharged smoothly and can independently complete home peritoneal dialysis treatment. Yu-ying's philosophy and mission in nursing work, providing comprehensive and holistic professional nursing care based on patient-centered needs. Recognize the spirit of SHARE in interactions with patients and colleagues.
