Yuki is someone who always leads by example. We can have no patients and she is constantly helping us get ready for deliveries of newborns or whatever may come. The parents of the infants constantly ask her if they can have her as their infant's nurse. Her style of nursing shows respect for the family and she always go above and beyond for everyone including staff. She is always there for teammates to answer questions or solve problems. You are not alone when she is working with you. Yuki is always one step ahead of her patient and family needs. Working with her is always a special day. She makes all the staff feel confident. There's not just one story but many that make her the reason why she should receive the DAISY Award. An example would be if she has a baby on a CPAP or with many IV lines, she helps the parents bond with their newborn and almost makes those obstacles disappear when she's assisting them with bonding. Yuki clearly deserves this award. When I first came here as a Traveler, I modeled my care after hers. She made we want to be a better nurse.
