Wearing the same nightgown and worn out shoes every time the patient came to the hospital was something difficult for the nurse to see. Suffering two diagnoses, one an illness and the other financial woes, truly touched Yulia.
After dialysis, the patient returned to her room to find a beautiful red gift bag on her bedside table. Inside the patient found two pairs of her favorite shoes and a new nightgown. For the first time since her stay, the patient smiled.
Quietly watching from afar, her peers noticed Yulia secretly return after her shift and leave the gift bag.
