Franciscan nurses blend clinical expertise with the "human touch." Yun Probasco, RN, AIRU, really demonstrated that combination as she cared for a young patient who had been on the rehab unit for an extended stay. She got to know him as a person and what he was really "missing" since his admission. With that information and the approval of his physician, Yun made him BBQ ribs and brought them in so he could enjoy them while he watched the football games. Her nomination calls her "thoughtful and caring" and this really demonstrates that! Thanks, Yun, for being such a great example of nursing at Franciscan Health!
