Yvonne Bermudez never hesitates to step in to help a patient with breastfeeding. We have seen her constantly advocate for patients and newborns by helping them to feed, even when others are ready to give up.
Recently, Yvonne came to the rescue of a Mom who was told she would not be able to take her baby home due to poor feeding abilities. Yvonne was able to train the baby to suck appropriately to tolerate feedings. This baby was able to maintain normal blood glucose levels to be successfully discharged home with Mom.
This is just one example of how Yvonne always goes above and beyond with an amazing and loving attitude.
