Our son was born 8 weeks early and spent his first 4.5 weeks in the NICU. We didn't expect him to be a preemie so it was very overwhelming for us. Yvonne was the first nurse that we met who took care of our son. And even though all of the NICU nurses were amazing, Yvonne was very special to us. She explained everything very well to us, she made us feel comfortable handling our son, she was very accurate and concentrated when she handled him, she was always kind and never seemed to mind answering all my questions - and I had many. From the first moment, we trusted her completely with our son because we always knew he was in good hands. Yvonne is very special; you don't meet people like her every day. Her heart is pure and we will never forget her.
