My mother is 97 and had broken her wrist. We returned to the plaster room after the fracture as my mother was in pain and her bones were very broken. Thank goodness we were fortunate enough to be treated by Yvonne. No one could have been more empathetic, caring, and reassuring. Her approach was particularly exemplary as my mother has dementia and required a very comforting technique. In addition, Yvonne was competent and efficient and provided us with some practical guidance to help us at home during the healing process. Yvonne’s interaction with us was exceptional because she made us feel that my mother was the most important patient in the hospital. She even accompanied us to the car and helped my mother into it, ensuring her safety from start to end of our meeting with her. We felt supported and very special. Yvonne certainly has the ‘X factor!’ Thank you.
