Yvonne Sullivan, RN
I have watched Yvonne go from a "green" new grad RN to the experienced ED nurse she is today. I am always struck by how much she cares for her patients. She strives to provide high-level nursing care along with a personal connection. I watched her make time for a geriatric psych patient over the week. She took the patient out into the sunshine and visited with her. She then wheeled her around the facility to give her a breather from her boarding in the ED. Yvonne advocates for her patients with physicians and other team members. She involved ancillary staff as needed. While she may say "I don't know," it will always be followed by "I will find out." Our community is so lucky to have her.
