Zabrina Little assisted a patient that was experiencing domestic abuse at home. The patient came in for an appointment and just broke down to the nurse. Zabrina immediately went to get the provider and the provider went in to talk with the patient. While the patient was still in the room, Zabrina called around to find her some assistance. She found the assistance within 10-15 minutes. A worker came to the office after hours and assisted the patient. We stayed with the patient until she felt secure enough to return home to pick up her children. She picked up her children and was given a safe location to stay.
