Zac Lemieux 2, RN

A patient who had a recent history of harming another nurse in the ER came back in. Zac volunteered to take the patient in his bay. He approached this person with a calm, kind, and positive attitude. He spoke to her calmly and was able to draw blood without help from others. He gave that patient a space to feel valued, cared for, and safe. At the same time, he also ensured the safety of his coworkers by taking extra time to walk the patient through everything he did. Zac is an extraordinary nurse who truly cares about his patients. As a coworker, Zac consistently creates an environment where top-tier performance is the standard.
